Jobseeker Section

1) What is the WorkSingapore all about?
WorkSingapore is a one-stop job search portal for degree graduates interested to work in Singapore! Positions advertised on WorkSingapore will be from reputable organizations based in the island state - the opportunities posted here could range from internship positions to management traineeships to permanent positions for graduates.

Registered jobseekers will be able to search for jobs from various Singapore-based companies, find out more about working culture in Singapore, build their resumes online and read up on career-related advice and tips on moving to Singapore.

WorkSingapore is a product and service by JobsFactory, and supported by Contact Singapore. WorkSingapore is free for jobseekers and we do not charge a fee for successful placements.

2) How can I be a part of the WorkSingapore?
WorkSingapore welcomes registrations from anyone with a good degree from a good University, as long as you are interested to work and move to Singapore.

To register for WorkSingapore, simply fill up the jobseeker registration form . Tell us where you are from (which country and what university) After which, you can proceed to create your online profile, build your resume online and apply for jobs posted on the Portal!

3) How does WorkSingapore work?
WorkSingapore highlights Singapore-based degree positions that are open to foreign graduates, from 0 to 5 years of working experiences.

WorkSingapore allows registered users to search for jobs, track your applications, build your resume and read career-related articles. As your personal career portal, it informs you via email and updates in your homepage of suitable job and training matches as indicated in your preferences through the Job Agent.

Whenever you apply for jobs through WorkSingapore, the resume saved will be conveniently submitted to potential employers. The relevant employers will then contact you directly if they find you suitable.

In addition, the Career Central section contains invaluable articles and resources on career-related tips and advice for Singapore industries.

4) How do I post up my resume?
To post up your resume, you have to first set up your personal profile - ie. Your contact information and brief education and professional information.

After that, you can proceed to use the online system to create your personal resume. There is a comprehensive "help" guide on the section to help you if you are not sure.

5) How do I search and apply for jobs?
To search for jobs, click on the search jobs link in your personalised home page and key in keywords such as the job titles or functions. You need to separate the keywords with commas. After this, you can choose to refine your search by checking the relevant check boxes and click on the "Submit" button to search for the jobs that you are interested in.

You can read more about the job and submit your resume online. As per employer's request, you may be redirected to complete another form for some job applications. You can view your application history on your homepage.

6) I can't remember my password?
Please use the "Forget Password" feature to request the system to forward the password to your registered email account.

7) I can't remember my login ID? / How do I deactivate my jobseeker account?
Please send a customer support request email to ecareerfair@jobsfactory.com - please provide us with your school name, name and NRIC to verify that you are the account owner.

8) What is "My Job Agent"?
My Job Agent is your personalised job match service. Once you have indicated your preferred job details, the Job Agent will update new available jobs automatically into you personal homepage. You will also be informed of the current updates weekly via email. You can always change your Job Agent under the Edit Profile section.

9) How secure is my information and will anybody else view it?
The resume and information submitted by you will be kept confidential. No employer will be able to view your information unless you specifically applied for the position.
